Dessert before breakfast?
This morning as I was putting breakfast together, my little boy peeked around the corner.
“Mom?” he asked, “Can I have a pop?”
He was talking about the ice-cream push-pops in the freezer.
“Sure!” I answered.
Yep. I let my kid eat dessert first.
Before breakfast!
WHAT?!?
Don’t worry! These pops are nutrient-rich, energy-sustaining, and anti-inflammatory - mostly full-fat coconut milk, hemp milk and completely free of sugar and junk.
Oh yeah… and they are DELICIOUS!
I LOVE SAYING YES to DESSERT in the MORNING!
Do you want to say “YES!” to ice cream before breakfast too?
Without setting your family up for a day of disaster?
When your home is full of nutrient-rich
anti-inflammatory
totally delicious food
everyone gets to relax.
(most of the time!)
Doesn’t that sound like a relief?
Oh… I hear you!
But my child
just. won’t. eat.
Is this you? Let’s change that!
I know that you’re already doing a GREAT job of filling your family’s life with incredibly tasty and healthy foods!
And I guarantee you -
Your child wants to eat your lovingly-prepared and carefully-selected meals and snacks and treats.
I know this about your child because when kids get the benefits of great nutrition, they feel better, learn better, act better, engage better - and all of these things help your child feel happy and proud of themselves.
I promise! Your child’s healthy, happy, gut-healing appetite may be just a simple step away.
And then you can be the mom that says yes to dessert before breakfast!
Want this to be the summer that your child starts eating everything?
Love,
Elissa
PS If your child has no appetite, is offended by many foods, gets bellyaches and bloating and only chooses sweets, crackers, mac-n-cheese etc., don’t give up! Let’s help your child fall in love with their most nourishing foods, and help them digest it too!
