Chocolate Pudding Pops! Recipe!

And LAST CALL for the summer coaching to get your child off to a GREAT START this fall!

It’s August, it’s hot, and we’re eating lots of fresh green beans, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, basil and blueberries.

When these veggies are picked right from the garden or fresh from the farmers market, they are practically glowing with nutrition.

And while I help a lot of  mamas help their kids to love eating more veggies, it’s also true that children need to eat MORE than just vegetables…

…they need clean protein and healthy fats too!

For example:

The medium chain triglyceride (MCT) fats in coconut oil provide an easily-available, super-stable, and long-lasting energy source so your child can really enjoy their whole day… without the wind-up and crash from simple carbs.

The bone broth powder is rich in amino acids that support everything from oxygen transport to growth and development to digestion and detoxification and immune support; gelatin for gut-healing; and minerals essential to building healthy bodies.

What's my family's favorite way to get this great nutrition on a hot August afternoon (or morning)?

Creamy, chocolatey, yummmmm… and even without sugar they’re so sweet and delicious it’s hard to stop eating them.  And they’re so full of nourishing sustenance I’m thrilled to serve “dessert!”

  • How about some fabulously fatty coconut milk for lasting energy, nerve support and antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action for your child?
  • How about a bonanza of bone broth benefits for gut repair and even more consistent energy for playing?

Here’s the recipe - it’s SO EASY!

Chocolate Pudding Pops

1 can coconut milk*

1/4 cup cacao powder

1/3 cup bone broth protein powder

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1-2 teaspoons now brand stevia glycerite

pinch fine sea salt

Blend well and pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 4 hours or until frozen.  YUM!

*use a fatty alternative like hemp milk if your child doesn’t tolerate coconut

Please note:  I suggest avoiding chocolate (a stimulant) within 4 hours of bedtime - perhaps stick to vanilla pops for after dinner!

Will you try them this weekend?  Let me know how your family likes them!!

With love and lots of creamy pops,

Elissa
