I love this time of year!  Though I long for the warmth and ease of summer, I also love the darkness, the bundling up, glowing windows in the evening and sparkling lights, flickering flames of candles, and gathering with family and friends.  

There’s the beauty and abundance, and also all the twists and turns and grief - yes, especially the grief - that has led me to exactly this moment  I have so much to be grateful for.

OH, we slept so well, and right in the middle of a busy urban neighborhood!

We’re visiting friends and decided to camp out in the back yard.  Why not?!?

 

It’s more than delightful for a kid to sleep outside in a tent.

It’s deeply restorative.
